What a fantastic evening with an outstanding line up of guests who kept the audience entertained throughout the night!
In the beautiful setting of the Dunedin Town Hall, this was a brilliant night of cocktails, fantastic food and witty debate. Host for the evening was Rachel Smalley, Newstalk ZB journalist. We got to hear from keynote speaker, Raelene Castle – CEO Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs who delighted the audience as she told of ‘living in a perceived man’s world’ in her role leading an NRL club.
There was a sumptuous three course dinner to be enjoyed while the panel of influential women in business debated “that the best place to be in a man’s world is, out of it”. Chaired by Anita Chan QC, Rachel joined the debating panel along with Liz Dawson, Board member, NZ Cricket Board; Penny Hulse, Deputy Mayor Auckland Council; Sue Bidrose, CEO Dunedin City Council; Donna Nicolof, Head of Wealth and Private Bank, BNZ; and Karen Bardwell, Managing Director, Oyster Executive Recruitment.
