Only two more weeks to go! Stay up-to-date with what's happening at the Show.

Exhibitor Manual

Today is the deadline for several booking forms from the exhibitor manual. By today, you should have all staff registered, confirmed furniture requests, booked packed lunches for show days, as well as an EFTPOS machine and a TV for stand. You can read up on all the important dates on page 18 of the Exhibitor Manual that we've provided you with.

The next date to keep in mind will be October 29, with the earliest day for freight to arrive. You must use our delivery label on page 24 in the Exhibitor Manual for every item coming in.

Whitestone Cheese Academy Masterclass

We have another great event awaiting us at the Great Kiwi Home & Living Show! 
Cheese-enthusiasts can look forward to a Whitestone Cheese Academy Masterclass by Whitestone Cheese CEO Simon Berry. During the Masterclass Simon Berry will teach participants all about cheese, including its history, the cheese-making processes, accompaniments, cheese storage tips and more. Participants will also get the chance for taste testing and wine matching, with wines from Wet Jacket Wines, Central Otago.

Do your kids love to cook?

The Kiwi Home Show & Living weekend is going to be packed with fun activities and events. Have you heard about our kids competitions yet?

The Kiwi Kids Can Cook competition is the perfect opportunity for budding chefs to show off their culinary skills!

The Otago/Southland heats will be at The Great Kiwi Home & Living Show on Saturday 3 November.

Contestants must devise, create and present their favourite dish in just half an hour and they must ensure at least one New Zealand grown vegetable is included in their recipe. An extra bonus will be that celebrity chef Simon Gault will be judging their delicious delights.

The winner will be crowned the champion of Otago/Southland and win flights and accommodation for them and a parent to compete in the finals in Auckland.

Or here’s a kid’s competition that really takes the cake!

The Gilbert's Fine Food: Icing on the Cake Challenge is looking for creative kids to present their most ingenious icing ideas for the theme 'Living in Otago'.

The Challenge?

Kids will decorate a 20cm round sponge cake under the theme "Living in Otago". They will be judged on their decorating skills and creativity. There is no tasting required so you are welcome to purchase a sponge to work with.
