Designer Drive Thru Under the Roof

Dunedin Venues’ catering partner Compass has come up with an innovative idea to ensure Forsyth Barr Stadium fans don’t have to miss out on their favorite snacks as news of the return of Super Rugby at Level 2 kicks in.

Under their Stadium Kitchen brand, the team will be setting up a drive thru on the East Stand at Forsyth Barr Stadium. Fans will be able to get back under the roof even if it is only from their car as they collect their order fresh from the Stadium Kitchen. The classic Stadium menu items like the Mince and Cheese pie, and Mexican Loaded Fries will be available but there will also be items from their corporate menu including Braised Harissa Lamb, Quinoa Salad, and Braised Beef Short Rib. Those with a sweet tooth don’t miss out either with their famous Portuguese Tarts and Hot Sticky Date Pudding on the menu to finish off the meal. Compass’ Stadium Catering Operations Manager, Greg Peckowski is excited to see his idea come to fruition. “We’re pleased to be able to offer such a wide variety of delicious food. You can order a high quality three course meal from the comfort of your car. We wanted to be able to keep our talented catering team busy so we’re looking forward to being able to provide this service.”

Click and collect orders can be made via the ‘Food4ME’ website: Everything will be contactless in line with government guidelines. The click and collect drive thru service starts on Thursday 14 May and will be open daily 11:30am – 2pm and then 4:30pm – 8:30pm. Entering through the main stadium carpark, customers will drive in at Gate F, collect their order and then exit through Gate E.
