Cellists of Otago presents a vibrant concert that merges the rich tones of a cello ensemble with the dazzling, soulful sounds of the Dunedin City Jazz Orchestra, featuring soloists Nick Cornish (saxophone) and Heleen du Plessis (cello). This unique fusion of genres celebrates Latin music with rhythmic Sambas, passionate Tangos—including Por Una Cabeza from A Scent of a Woman—and heartwarming melodies such as Perhaps Perhaps, Perhaps and Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars.
