Featuring an amazing line up of entertainment, activations, food & beverages, including: Anika Moa, Suzy Cato, The Dunedin Rock Choir, Artisan Markets, Rocks for Tots, Disney’s Moana on the Big Screen, Amazing Science Demos, Food Trucks, Bouncy Castles, Conservation and nature displays, a Working Forge in Action, and plenty more fun for the whole family!
Join Suzy Cato from 11am on the main stage where she and some friends will entertain and involve the kids in a spectacular show involving some of her amazing musical friends as well as a special performance of a Wild Dunedin Song written for the festival! Primary school kids from around Dunedin will be learning this song so if your kids have been singing ‘What Kind of Rock’ around home, bring them along to join in the fun!
The delightful and wonderful Anika Moa will be performing all your favourite songs from when she was a young and fabulous popular musical artist. Anika is putting on an all-rounder of a show with some older and much loved songs, some of her children’s songs, and even some beautiful new songs! She loves a good old banter and singalong… a Fleetwood Mac cover or two might make their way into the mix, or maybe some waiata. You never know what you will get but what it will be is a rollicking, fun and wild time!
10am-11am – Jo Woolley will lead a team of local yoga instructors on the central stage at Forsyth Barr Stadium to kick off NatureDome Day, as we attempt to break New Zealand’s largest yoga class record.
