2026 Serenade Tickets Giveaway Competition Terms

These terms apply to the Serenade Giveaway (Competition) run by Dunedin Venues Management Limited (as operator of the Dunedin Centre) (Dunedin Centre) held through Facebook.Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms.
The Competition runs from Tuesday 13th October 2026 to Monday 19th October 2026 at 12pm (Competition Period). All entries received outside the Competition Period will not be entered into the Competition.
1.0 Who Can Enter
1.1 To be eligible to enter, you must reside in New Zealand at the time the Competition is drawn and be 18 years or older. Dunedin Centre may require a winner to provide proof of age, identity and New Zealand residency before awarding a Prize.
1.2 You are not eligible to enter the Competition if you are an employee of Dunedin Centre or an immediate family member of an employee.
1.3 Dunedin Centre reserves the right, to disqualify any entrant where it believes, in its sole discretion, the entrant has breached any of these Terms, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any misconduct to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Competition.
1.4 Dunedin Centre shall have sole and final determination as to which entries are genuine and eligible to take part in this Competition.
2.0 How To Enter
2.1 To enter the Competition, you must, follow the entry instructions outlined in the Giveaway Announcement, during the Competition Period.
2.2 You will receive one entry per person, unless stated otherwise.
2.3 Incomplete, invalid or late entries will not be counted.
2.4 Dunedin Centre assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation unauthorised access to or alteration of Competition entries.
3.0 Operational Responsibility
3.1 There is 1 prize in total, which may consist of x2 Tickets to NZSO’s Serenade on Wednesday 21st October (Prize).
3.2 The Prize is not transferable or refundable and cannot be exchanged, on sold or redeemed for cash.
3.3 If any Prize or any part of a Prize becomes unavailable for any reason Dunedin Centre may, at its discretion, provide an alternative Prize.
4.0 Winner Selection & Notification
4.1 The winner of the Competition will be drawn randomly from all eligible entries. The selection of the winner by Dunedin Centre is final.
4.2 The winner will be announced after the Competition closes. The winner will be contacted via a reply to their entry comment from Dunedin Centre's official Facebook account.
4.3 The winner will be required to provide their name, phone, address and email to Dunedin Centre in order for Dunedin Centre to deliver the Prize to the winner.
4.4 The winner agrees that Dunedin Centre may use their name, photograph, image, likeness and any statements made by them in connection with the Competition for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes (including on social media and digital platforms) without compensation, except where prohibited by law.
4.5 If the winner cannot be contacted within 48 hours of the notification or is not able or available to accept the Prize for any reason, that Prize will be deemed to be forfeited and Dunedin Centre may award the Prize to another entrant.
4.6 Any costs associated with redeeming a Prize are the responsibility and at the cost of the winner of that Prize.
5.0 Privacy
5.1 Personal information provided by Competition entrants will be used by Dunedin Centre for the purpose of conducting this Competition and otherwise in accordance with Dunedin Centre's privacy policy: dunedinvenues.co.nz/policy.
6.0 Event Conditions
6.1 If the Prize includes event access, all attendees must comply with the venue and event's terms and conditions. Dunedin Centre reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove any person from the venue in accordance with the venue's terms of entry. No compensation or replacement Prize will be provided where entry is refused, or a person is removed from the venue due to a breach of those terms.
6.2 If the event is cancelled, postponed, rescheduled or otherwise varied, Dunedin Centre is not responsible for any costs incurred by entrants or winners and reserves the right to substitute the Prize or amend the Competition accordingly.
7.0 Social Media
7.1 The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram Inc. or Facebook (together, Meta). By participating in this Competition, you agree to a complete release of Instagram, Inc. and Facebook from any claims.
7.2 By entering the Competition, you agree that Dunedin Centre may publish and use your Instagram and/or Facebook username, where relevant, for publicity associated with the Competition without further compensation.
8.0 General
8.1 Dunedin Centre reserves the right to amend, vary, extend or discontinue this Competition at any stage, for any reason without prior notice.
8.2 Dunedin Centre and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special, or consequential loss or loss of profits) or damage or personal injury or death suffered or sustained in connection with this Competition or the acceptance or use of any Prize (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law, in which case it will be excluded to the minimum allowable by law.
8.3 By entering, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions and consent to their name being published if they win.
8.4 In the event of a dispute, Dunedin Centre's decision is final.
8.5 These Terms are governed by New Zealand law.
