We've pulled together some helpful information about getting to and from our Central City venues.
Dunedin Town Hall & The Dunedin Centre
Location
The Dunedin Centre complex and Town Hall are located right in the heart of the city. The buildings are located between the Octagon and Moray Place.
Main entrances
Dunedin Town Hall: 200 Moray Place
Glenroy Auditorium & Dunedin Centre: 1 Harrop St
Vehicle
Short term parking is available outside the Dunedin Town Hall and The Dunedin Centre on Moray Place and in the Octagon. This is suitable for pick up and drop off parking. Longer term paid parking is available in the surrounding streets and is free after 6pm.
Wilsons Car Parking operate paid parking on Moray Place.
Note: Harrop Street (adjacent to the Town hall) is closed for public access.
Bus
One of the easiest, and quickest ways to get to our venues is by bus. The walk time from the central city Bus Hub is approximately 6 minutes. Regular bus services run from many parts of the city.
Routes and times are subject to change for major event days.
Walk
If a gentle stroll is your thing, walking is one of the best ways to get our venues. It generally takes 10-20 minutes to walk to most of our venues.
Taxi & Uber
Dunedin has options for both taxis and Uber. Demand for these services can be high during events. Pre-booking both legs of your journey is recommended.
Mobility Parking
The closest dedicated mobility park is on Filleul Street and drop-off access is available on the corner or Harrop Street and Moray Place for The Dunedin Centre and Town Hall.
